This is a league that has proven to punish the best of the best even with years in their bag. Plus not all 24 year old NBA players ball like that. It's not even close. @@antmck99 nothing againsy Sabonis. He did play great. My whole thing is this is a similar set that we ran last year. The Pacers played the Celtics early in the season last year and it was a very similar situation. Inbound to Sabonis and he drives in and throws something up. It worked for us then yeah. Is Sabonis our best player yeah he is. At the same time Duarte is more of a versatile threat. Domas couldve caught him on a last second back door, if they had drawn it up that way. Duarte can take you off the dribble either pull up or dribble drive. Hes a threat from deep or close. If Sabonis has the ball its almost a guarantee hes going straight to the basket thats why it was so easy to defend. Regardless if were down 1,2 or 3 I wouldve gave the ball to Duarte in some fashion. Back door, pin down or iso. Whatever the case or situation would be i wouldve like to see him make that play. Dudes got ice in his veins and i can feel it.
