You can't deny that people might see you a certain way, and you can't deny that by playing a certain role over a long enough period of time you get creatively curious and restless. But I really try to go out of my way to make sure that the choices I make, within this industry and the choices I make in my personal life, aren't dictated by how I'm perceived. I just think that's impossible to ever fully know accurately, and a slippery slope. I just don't see the value in incorporating that data into our process." -Chris Evans

I think Paul is downplaying his role in Friends. Because at the end, for the last coupple of seasons, and certainly in the last one... he was basically the 7th friend. He was the only actor/character to join the main cast as a sort of star of the show. Thousand of love interests for all 6 friends across 10 years, and he was the only one to actually make it. And I think a big reason was because of his great performance as Mike Hannigan aka "Crap Bag".

Chris Evans completely subverted my expectations on “who Chris Evans is” through a warm personality and intricate vocabulary. He is really well spoken. This is probably the best Actors On Actors episode.. This generation will someday be the older generation of great films. I mean look, they are already part of the MCU. Like it or not Rudd put his stamp on the Ghostbusters universe. (and surprisingly it was even the correct universe) ... They have both made their marks... Two future film/entertainment icons. That have so so much more to deliver.
