You don’t usually hear the words “1,300 horsepower” and “Four Seater” in the same sentence. But when you’re Chris Forsberg and you’re trying to think up the greatest party car to exist, combining those two was the exact goal. And so you have the Altimaniac: a GT-R powered, insanely fast and grippy car built with the sole purpose of going sideways and putting smiles on faces.

Man, ive been a fan of the Hoonicorn for a while. But once i discovered the Altimaniac, that was it for me. Im a DIE HARD Nissan Fan. I love everything about this car. The fact that its an Altima, MAKES IT THAT MUCH BETTER. Ive owned a few Nissans and loved each. Now im the proud owner of a 2006 Xterra with 325,000 miles, and a 2006 Pathfinder with about 215,000 miles. And i bought them used so they were abused. Which costed me changing an engine from my parts truck into the Pathfinder and the Transmission went into the Xterra. Now heres the INSANE THING: When the rings went down in the original Pathfinder, i pulled the donor Xterra engine and removed the valve covers. Inside the engine, it was as clean as a motor with about 10,000 miles. But the donor read 197,000 miles. A beautiful silver finish with NO OIL STAINING! Idk if she bought a new engine when she owned the Xterra (the donor), but im a mechanic. Ive NEVER seen an engine that clean that wasnt BRAND NEW. So i was super happy that went into my Pathfinder. I will be rebuilding the 4.0 that came out, and putting it in the Xterra that has 325,000 on it. GO NISSAN!!!!

20 years ago, someone turned up to a drift event with a lightly tuned Pontiac GTO, and everyone thought “huh, big torquey engines are useful for this”. And that was the height of drift tech. Now everyone’s making unlimited time attack cars with 90 degrees of steering angle and as much power as a pro stock drag car. Times have changed a bit.

Ive always said the new NISSAN family cars starting in 2020 have an awesome looking front grill, it just looks MEAN but after watching this build man oh man that Altima Looks AWESOME!!! If you look at it on the track with the other cars behind it you can clearly see how way better it looks and just meaner looking!!! This was a very creative project!! Wonder how much CASH also went into that, anyway VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!

I think you probably know about this, but there was a Z car celebration at the World Arena this weekend, and Chris, his 370 and the Altimaniac were there..... Abd I know you other viewers see the expression on Larry’s face and his description, and I can’t tell you just how insane this build is up close and personal! This build is beyond words.... this is legit a fully built race/drift car with Altima body panels and pieces of the frame, and an insane race motor, rear mounted radiator, roll cage, etc...... once you see the exposed rear in person.........no more words....

Don't know that I'd wanna try and drift a VF Commodore though 😂 much bigger and heavier than even a stock one of these. Easy LS power though, and of course everyone loves a good Barra (even if they're the size of a whole MX-5 and weigh almost as much!)

The ONLY negative I see about this car is that the rear radiator is basically exposed to the rear tires. Theres already rubber on the rad, and aside from rubber from the rear tires blocking flow to the rad, its also possible that a slung rock could puncture something and compromise the cooling system. All could be solved with some rear wheel tubs or something - otherwise its an INSANE build. amazing attention to detail

We will only need vacuum cleaners for boring motoring jobs. Plenty of fun life in internal combustion. People still run steam engines for recreation, petrol could be the same if people stopped wasting it driving short distances in towns.

Aahhh!!! I have a 2018 2.5 SR Vanilla Altima.. 😔 120mph max and it will only let you cruise control at 90mph.. My 2002 Honda Accord would 4 cylinder auto would let you cruise control at 125mph
