This isn't even a rebuild at this point. As he said, he needs to flush out the talent, just to see who he can rebuild with. I assume he wants to catch lightning in a bottle from Moncada, and maybe one of the veterans he signed, so he can flip them at the trading deadline. Rick Han and Kenny Williams set this team back several years, and Jerry Reinsdorf sat back and let them do it.

He's getting 20 years of leeway to be mid and struggle to win a bad division. This was a bad hire as he has drafted a number of busts. It is clear he doesn't have an eye for talent.

After 3 games Sox have anemic hitters. Eloy now injured again. The managing is PONY league. Hire AJ as manager.If not bring Ozzie back. He just won the Carribean Tournament with Venezuela. These guys aren’t playing like their jobs are on the line. Don’t wait until they start out 5 and 25 to make a change to get the players attention. The pitching has a chance.

Moncada is in money mode. He’s taking extra bases in this 0-3 start. Thats a positive. He has to consistently hit when it matters, and not pad his stats when games are over. Please moratorium on the fluorescent pads. He looks like a jack wagon.

really love dylan cease -- and also he did not match the timeline anymore. it's tough to take, but you have to move pieces while they have value if they won't be a part of the picture when the team is ready to try and win again. bummer all around.

It's exhausting being a fan of this team, Getz just spewing nonsense about no-name players, 'maybe this and that can happen'. It's like Jerry talking, a $100 million player is "standard" not something "special." To THIS cheap owner, it is, though. Imagine going into a season not having any plan of who a Closer might be or not setting the final roster until literally the day before the home opener. It's such a clown show and Getz has to pretend everything is in great shape and looking forward to the future.
