Chris took the torch from Clarkson and the boys, and ran with it. He is the true automotive journalist of Top Gear now with a great supporting cast. I'm a gigantic fan of the show, having seen every episode, most more than once. While Chris Evans days will be forgotten, current iteration is as good as the Wilman and Clarkson originals. Having been attached to cars from a very young age to almost an autistic degree, Top Gear has been such a source of enjoyment and holds a very prominent place in my life. There's my family and friends, pets, my Miata and GTI, my cast iron pan, my music, and Top Gear. Everything else is peripheral. I am ecstatic to watch the show succeed in perpetuity. Carry on, gentlemen!

What a great idea for an episode. Really enjoyed it. Some truly EPIC cars with some AMAZING cinematography and Chris Harris provides some great, no-nonsense commentary. Well done Top Gear. No need to be something else, use what you have and who you have and you will have a winning formula. BTW I really do miss that Dodge Viper ARC. What a truly special driver's car. I believe the price of that car will only continue to skyrocket in the aftermarket.

I would be so happy if top gear was just 10 hr long episodes like this each year. They spent too long trying to emulate the old 3, with mixed results. Why not just give us 10 hours of Chris harris sliding beautiful cars round circuits each year

"why not"? simple reason: money. more videos, more money. split the video in 3 parts, more money. same reason why channels like drivetribe and vinwiki like to upload irrelevant content which is barely stretched to more than 10 mins.

Chris I was just wondering how you feel about being the real Top Gear successor to Jeremy Clarkson. You’re both very talented drivers and orators/presenters. There are some similarities in your journalistic style, but, there are also some unique characteristics that make you both excellent individual onscreen personalities. I grew up watching Jeremy with Quentin, Tif and Vicky on the original Top Gear of the 1980s and I was wrapped when it returned with Jeremy, Richard and James. And, although I was sad to see the show conclude under controversy, I was glad to the BBC didn’t cancel it completely. So after some experimentation, I’m really glad to see you’ve taken up the mantle to provide another excellent and entertaining Top Gear programme. Thank you...

I love it when Harris gets behind the wheel of an American car that he really likes. We do have a tendency to produce shite that looks the part but doesn't really measure up. The Germans and Italians have been kicking dirt in our faces for so long with their V12s and AMG powerhouses that it's always wonderful to see someone I respect like Chris have a proper good time on the track in a Ford or Dodge. As a GM employee, I wish we were able, or allowed, to build big, powerful, arse kicking, cars like these more often. The Viper is a bargain and I wish I could have one. The Ford costs so much that I'd be afraid to drive it but damn, isn't it nice to know that us Yanks CAN build a decent hot rod?

The Viper ACR rarely gets the respect it deserves. It isn't as refined as a GT3 RS or sound nearly as good, but it's a superior track weapon. Kudos to Chris Harris pointing this out. Now if I had tons of cash I'd probably take a GT3 RS over a Viper ACR because it's more refined and sounds better... knowing full well an ACR is superior on track 😂. That's life I guess.
