I'm not quite sure the Solus will compare very favourably to the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro, or even the GMA T50S Lauda both opf which have spare seats. McLaren gets cars to be light vs compatitors (for street cars) but the lap times are then a bit disappointing for that lack of weight. I'm curious where/why they drop the ball.

I'm curious whether race engines with so much trouble to run offer any advantage over a proper V12 Cosworth such as in GMT T50S or Aston martin Valkyrie AMR Pro which seem easy to run as a street engine.

I would be surprised if a true driver would choose an AMG 1 over a Valkyrie. The Valkyrie is such a more attractive proposition for so many reasons. Who wants a 1.6 engine. If your wanting a car to keep as a future classic it’s not going to be an AMG 1. It’s like they’re trying to celebrate the worst of what Formula One has become, and that’s not difficult.

Why not add mountain like xtra bars at the end of the steering wheel? You'd have each one bent outside, right outwards on the rhdside, and lhdside out to the left. So you'd have the extra bits of metal to grip or twist in wards as well, but only the width of a hand. Or in carbon?

The F5.... You say that because you think its American. And some kind of world beating hypercar. But its not road legal. It has no crash testing, no emissions, no legal VIN / Chassis number. It has to run on kit-car number plates. And it rolls out of England 100% ready built. Corvette engine and all. Its about as American as socialised healthcare.

The Hennessey is more of a kit car than Supercar...it has no airbags and can only be registered as "Show and Display in the US. It's infotainment display is an off the shelf display Alpine....all for $1,600,000 mill!! LOL

The Speedtail and Koenigsegg are Imported to the US!! Built to THEIR countries regulations!! This subpar builder Hennessey took the easy way out by not even engineering a car to his OWN countries regulations!!! All for $1.6 million. Hence no where near any of the mentioned class of hyper cars.

ALL these auto channels, that complain about the back of the car being all they can see through the external mirrors, are idiotic. properly adjusted mirrors do not see the car at all! The internal mirror is for seeing what is directly behind. External mirrors are for seeing what is coming up on either side. Proper mirror setup means that you see another coming upon you and as the car exits your mirror, it enters your peripheral vision.
