I have some good news for you then; as Gen Z and/or the generation after comes of age, we'll probably see the crossover boom end, and probably see a return to wagons/estates. Baby boomers didn't want to drive the same old wagon that their parents did, so they bought minivans, Millennials didn't want to drive the same old minivan that their parents did, so they bought crossovers, so Gen Z will find/find crossovers deeply uncool. So what will replace it? The wagon! Now hear me out, in the US, wagons have become desirable to my generation (younger millenials/older zoomers), since the only ones sold are really the E63 and the RS6. We grew up watching videos of these fast sleepers tearing up European roads, and we've longed for it. We only just now got the RS6 Avant in the states, and it's become rather desirable among young people. Therefore, I predict that as they come of age, wagons will be in again, and crossovers will be out.
