Hes sober, its just from years of drinking that he sounds like this. I had a great uncle who was sober and sounded like this after years of drinking. It never went away.

For some people when your free of the shackles,drink/drug addiction,bills, scraping a living and all the shite that has had aimed at him for years (some his own making)then when your away from that it is euphoric... don't want to go into the reason's why I think that but I do know he feels...as with the health care he might be thinking don't waste it on me....the band he's got around him at the moment are really good talented blokes....good luck Chris....

I think he's right. If his music doesn't sell in the US, and he's going to spend most of the year touring Europe and Japan anyway, why live there? Blackie Lawless is one year older than Chris Hoimes (57), maybe he's hittin' the sauce again.

Hip hop is just mainstream the way pop was when WASP was in it's prime. Even back then, Ozzy, Deep Purple, Scorpions, Def Leppard and Motley Crue was on the Radio but WASP never were. Metallica and Megadeth surfaced and GNR came along and blew the doors off of WASP along with a lot of other bands. Rock band are still out there, I personally think that he can't keep up. Hip Hop sucks but don't blame them.

@tortimeese10 жыл бұрын
Diane Herman er, I think you mean "ravaged," not "ravished." Unless you are an ex-groupie who ravished his body, which means it would be all your fault! You seem to have an untoward hatred of the man. Addicted or not, he seems like a nice enough fella. And, I think he and Blackie made a great pair. Even Blackie has publicly said that, when writing songs and laying down tracks, he fed off of Chris Holmes' anger.

This is so sad :( Chris Holmes has always been a very talented guitarist, and an amazing performer. But he is wasting his talent, just so that he can pull a couple of drinks! Blackie has often tried to make him settle down, so that he could rejoin W.A.P.S, but it seems like a lost cause for him. I hope he can somehow get his stuff together again.

MisterCritch Chris is a major alcoholic and I don't need to know him personally to say that. (Even though I did meet him once in the 80's) I have followed his career since the beginning and have watched him ruin his career. He is missing teeth, can't speak clearly and has little control over his body movements. Watch "Decline of the Western Civilization, The Metal Years" to see what and arrogant asshole he was even in front of his mother. He may not be arrogant in this interview but he is a full blown alcoholic.
@MisterCritch10 жыл бұрын
Diane Herman he gave up drinking in 95... I know that & there's another reason for his body movement... I said he didn't drink.. But I didn't say he doesn't do any other substances. But if you new what your talking about.. You'd know its not the drink that makes him like this.. He gave that up & replaced it with something else... I'll let you work it out as your so smart.
@MisterCritch10 жыл бұрын
Diane Herman by the way... I just wanna add to my last comment that your a disrespectful cow too! I'd love to see how perfect you are... Saying shit about people on here... Are you more successful than Chris? When you don't know what your talking about... Which you don't! You should keep it shut! & I can say your a disrespectful cow... Because your comments are on here for all to see! Chris is a great guitarist .. Done great music & I'm sure he'll do more great music... Let me know what you've achieved in the last 20 years? You've kept your teeth nice & white???

@raydeen19 жыл бұрын
"Same old WASP crap." Chris, the only reason you have what you have in life is because of that "same old WASP crap." If not for WASP, where would you be? Exactly where you are now. Is anyone going to plunk down money for that new album of yours? How many people even know of your band? Damn...respect the concept that helped you achieve the life you've been able to live. You should be thanking Blackie every single day.
