I remember the game and I always thought that there was no Continue . And I still played it through with my brother. Damn hard game but always a good memory. Thx to bring it back 😁👍

I think originally there is no continue but you can get a cracked version that adds continues extra lives higher jumping, no fall deaths etc. But with no cheating you have to basically do it on 3-4 lives! Like a trooper, I can barely get through a single stage without dying lol. Especially those horizontal shooter levels near the end. I mean I was like 9 years old :D Maybe 9 yr olds are crap at games!

@@DailyCorvid So the game have continues, but only if you had collected enough diamonds. (every 50 or 100 you got one) they were also shown as red dots in the bottom left corner of the status bar.

Amazing work. It's just about perfect. That warm 80s synthesizer sound and those wild swirling chords like at 2:26--I love it. I went ahead and got your Turrican remix album on Bandcamp! ...By the way, was it intended for the Bandcamp version of this song to sound so different? The Bandcamp version almost sounds like it is distorted by a lot of high frequencies being present.

It's the same versions but KZbin is "fixing" frequencies on their videos which sucks imho.

Yeah I think that's what I like about it, this is not trying to replace the original. This is meant to sound less pacey and more trancey and I think it sounds terrific personally. But you're right the original is more punchy probably due to the lower res sound output. I mean if I converted this into a legit 8 or 16bit tune it would sound way more punchy, and if that's your thing you will prefer them.

Try the Bandcamp version. It sounds crisper and has more high frequencies, which makes it seem punchier in a sense.
