I saw them in small clubs in the mid 80's in San Francisco. The second I saw Chris Issak I'd new he'd be a star. His voice, look and vibe was special. And that falsetto on Lie To Me is off the hook.

He looks and sounds so much like the young Elvis it's uncanny. This is not to say that he is an imitator because he's not at all. His sound is his and it's fantastic. Love this guy's music to the max.

This MTV Unplugged session is amazing, does anybody know if there is some kind of offical release with CD quality? I love the Baja Session sound these recordings have, makes sense since they were working on that album from 1995 to 1996, when they went to Mexico. Thanks Alma for uploading it!
