Just think today, what they call divas, Mariah carey, celine dion , shania twain , etc, they dont stand a chance with her great natural voice, nothing compares for sure, today's music sucks with all the no talent singers , auto tuned robots.

@@dnakhlbi8779to be fair Mariah can sing. She's got a voice that's quite up there with Sinead. Celine not so shabby herself either. I think your comment it's correct about a lot of music this day was auto-tuned but the women you chose to use examples are not very good ones as I would think it's safe to say especially Mariah are amazingly natural beautiful singing voices. And then you even have exceptions Beyonce who may not sing everything in her live shows she's an entertainer and performer who absolutely could not pull off a performance like she does with the dancing and theatrics if she sang the whole time. It's not necessarily that she can't sing but physically it's almost impossible to sing and Carry out dancing to the extent she does for hours on end at the same time. And I'm not trying to put her in the same league vocally is Sinead not even close but I'm just pointing out that not every performer that uses auto-tune sometimes or lip syncs are talentless or can't sing. Sinead O'Connor was very unique and inspiring in many ways. But if you listen to her talk I would really think that comparing these other women to her or something that he would not want done simply because all these women are out there pouring their souls into their art to give their fans something they love.

One of the best performances ever! The way she was canceled would never happen today with the way social media’s reach is just a click or tap away. I remember being 7 or maybe 8 watching her rip the picture of the pope up live and coming from a catholic family in total shock. She wanted a big reaction and definitely got it, the fact she wasn’t able to explain exactly why she did it was an awful thing. I had no idea about everything she had gone through in life leading up to that point until a random rainy Sunday and watched the documentary about her and explained so much and made my heart hurt for her. Vocals like hers DON’T come along in life all that often. Whitney, Mariah, Adele, Tina, Janis, etc. were just born to share that gift with the world. The fact 25+ years later she still hit the notes the same way gives me chills. No matter how much time passes I will still listen to and love her. Didn’t mean to go off like I just did but nonetheless here we are.

And such a precious and beautiful soul whose brilliant light was dimmed far too early jading her and shattering her already broken heart. And we suffered greatly for it just as she did. This man's music has saved my life. I know that sounds stupid. But I've been in a bad place where my thoughts almost got to me. Bryan adams has been my favorite since I was 13 years old. I'm 52 now. My bday is 11/061972. In those 52 years, bryan's music has kept alive on several occasions. I'm not longer in that state of mind for awhile now. But, I was really really close quite a few times and music always brought me out and stopped. Hard to explain. I love you all. And thank you bryan adams. You'll just never how much you did for me. I love you.

I'm so glad i wintnessed her singing live once, in the Irish National Concert Hall in 2018, for Shane Macgowans 60th birthday gig. The crowd was getting quite drunk and rowdy as different musicians played Shanes songs. When she came on and started singing "You're the One", everyone went completely silent for the whole song. A magical voice.

This tortured soul had more raw talent, deep emotion, and pure unadulterated beauty than anyone I have ever seen or heard in my life. She was an Angel who spoke her truth, weather it was a ‘popular’ truth, or indifferent to if you even wanted to hear it. She was shunned, made fun of and abandoned by this terrible world for speaking about the criminals in the Catholic Church…only to find out it was the absolute truth. She spent her life befallen by one tragedy after another, yet kept her beautiful heart on display for all the world to hear, through her angelic voice. I pray she has found her peace, I know she has earned it. I pray she is with her son and will spend eternity with him next to her and in the presence of her Heavenly Father. RIP SINEAD, there will only ever be one YOU, and I am forever grateful that I got to be on this earth with you and feel your talent first hand. ❤ hi
