Chris Judd - 2010 Brownlow medallist 1/2

Chris Judd won the 2010 Brownlow medal with 30 votes. The 2009 winner Gary Ablett Jr (Geelong) was second with 26 votes and the clear favourite going into the count, Dane Swan (Collingwood), was third with 24 votes.

The two best players of that era were the guy presenting the Brownlow and the bloke who won it. Ablett and Judd were like the Federer and Nadal of football. They were so far ahead of everyone else. Swan was good and a deserving winner the next year but these two were still the best

the umpires have had the best seat to judge for the past 86 years for the brownlow medal, i find it disgraceful for football supporters to say someone was robbed of one, what about scott west, legend for his entire career, he never won a grand final, always polled top 5 for the majority of his career and never won it, so shoosh Collingwood, just because he plays for Carlton does not mean he didn't deserve it, everyone in the top 5 deserved it, but Judd is a legend of the sport, not much u can do

@thehawkster55 Not trying to take anything away from Dane Swan. He had a great season! His best so far. The umpires have the best seat to judge these things and they are the most un-biased (as it is there job to be so). I'm a Carlton supporter and I didn't think Judd would win it this year but it's the umpires decision and I take it as such.

I hate Collingwood with a passion, but can still admit Dane Swan deserved the Brownlow. This is the first Brownlow medal that is clearly bogus. Just shows that the umpires r bias cause every other judging system including big bookies review the games & pick Swan. I was even surprised Judd made the All Australian let alone 5 best on grounds in a row. Round 6 Carlton Collingwood, Carlton lose the whole match but have 54 more possessions. Judd gets BOG, clearly it's not possessions that win games.

Dont wanna take anything away from Judd, but i dont think he deserved to win. I think Pendlebury and J. Selwood getting 21 votes each cost Ablett and Swan respectively!!! Ablett had a great year he kicked 44 goals this yr, which is an amazing effort for someone who played more than half of the yr in the midfield. Well done to Judd nevertheless. ps. i love McGuires face at 0:22!!! He was fuming lol
