Why are people bitter about how she speaks...she is a bold woman and her dad was most proud of that that's why she spoke like that...her dad wanted her to be bold and not show people she can be taken down. Most families that are like them are led by women. After the parents have gone they are supposed to act like this. Plus cancer is a bitch, in old age it is most definitely you will pass...it is life. If you are prepared..you have already said your goodbyes, the pain is less and we celebrate your life to the fullest. Give her a break guys. You have no idea how much confidence she gathered to speak Infront of the whole nation. You never know the behind scenes. Ps. Speaking from experience

To his credit Chris, the billionaire, has brought up his children to be remarkably competent at this thing called life and work - independent, hard working, tenacious, able to earn their own money, stand their own ground, and make a difference in their families and in the world.

Despite the fact that Dr. Kirubi was wealthy he allowed his children to work and explore the world and learn which is amazing, they have experience enought to run their race. RIP

Chris sent his kids overseas because he had no confidence in his own country. He's not the only one, we all have no confidence in ourselves. Point taken. Point demonstrated. Here lies a kenyan, a Kikuyu to boot, having his funeral conducted in alien English.

Bro we have a poor education system it's not about have confidence in our country. Look at it this way, we are the leaders of the future or rather our children are...in order to help this country we need to invest in our children by giving them exposure of the outside world so they can bring it home. The mistake these people do is let them live in those countries.
@kenyannurse254lizzie43 жыл бұрын
Work hard and send your kids overseas. I am in the United States because my parents work hard to see me become successful. Yes the ceremony is in English because when your family includes others outside the tribe you learn to adjust but if all you have in people around you in the village … then you can have your services be conducted in Kikuyu…. I really find it narrow minded for someone to days that about his own people !!!
