Another great and enlightening video! It's amazing that something so simple, yet so profound is constantly missed. OF COURSE you must understand up to some degree what you have faith in! But people often repeat "I don't understand the ways of God, but I have faith." Clearly, they do think they understand something, but they just don't know how to put that into words. I think most of the time, people who say this are feeling something like "I know there is absolute truth." "I know there is a being greater than I looking after me somehow." "There must be some reason to the universe, it can't be random." "I know that good and bad are real and objective." "I feel that somehow I will live on consciously after my body dies." "I know the natural or physical world is not all that there is." I think topological containment being dually equivalent to logical cause-and-effect is another important clue to the relationship between understanding and belief, or knowledge and existence. "Conspansion is not just a physical operation, but a logical one as well. Because physical objects unambiguously maintain their identities and physical properties as spacetime evolves, spacetime must directly obey the rules of 2VL (2-valued logic distinguishing what is true from what is false). Spacetime evolution can thus be straightforwardly depicted by Venn diagrams in which the truth attribute, a high-order metapredicate of any physical predicate, corresponds to topological inclusion in a spatial domain corresponding to specific physical attributes. I.e., to be true, an effect must be not only logically but topologically contained by the cause; to inherit properties determined by an antecedent event, objects involved in consequent events must appear within its logical and spatiotemporal image. In short, logic equals spacetime topology." - Chris Langan, Physics and Metaphysics

You can over the course of thousands of years see how the brain has developed and evolved to what it is today. Which seems to suggest that at one point of time humans only behaved in very simplified terms. Now we have the ability to think abstractly, reason, being introspective of ourselves. Your statement also seems to imply a difference of us to that of the animal kingdom. I think this idea that humans are the only "conscious" beings of earth is erroneous. Chimpanzees will perform altruistic behavior similar to that of humans; birds have been shown to exhibit cognitive assessment. These statements imply that animals may be more conscious than what we give credit for. CTMU interesting enough applies the fundamental framework of evolution in of itself by providing a feedback loop that humans have been using to develop cognition for hundreds of thousands of years and that this process would be infinite. Any animal could evolve to what humans are in terms of cognitive process, but this is highly unlikely because we are unique in many aspects, being bipedal with hands is one. With that you only have to answer the question of our nature. CTMU suggest that in end we are only an exhibition of Gods intellectual mind and with that we are one being and if we are a product of Gods mind then in essence, we really are one as the common denominator is God himself. This, in my opinion explains the supernatural phenomena of near-death experiences and DMT hallucinogens states which is becoming much more documented in the literature and both of these experiences have similar characteristics of oneness, entering dimensions, a deity. I find it intriguing that people who have never been religious will take a substance like DMT and be sitting at the last supper of jesus christ or be floating above their body with a 360 view of their surroundings but I'm just rambling at this point.

Is reincarnation possible?
@ctmuistАй бұрын
It is possible, yes. Although, it's not the best option available. When a person dies, their history and identity remains embedded in the timeless level of consciousness. What happens next depends on what makes that person's identity and history special, i.e., their beliefs and choices. In the CTMU, there's free will as well as something called self-simulation and distributed solipsism. While free will entails that at the semiotic and semantic levels, you participate in creating reality in a way unique to yourself, the latter two entail that you create your own world. What happens to a person's soul in the afterlife depends on what they believed and how they acted, while teleology acts as a constraint (i.e., you can't go to Heaven if you were evil, simply by believing evil people go to Heaven). How that person's identity is re-injected into spacetime (and "which" spacetime) is a process that brings those things together. In Langan's own words "this could be recombinative process, with the essences of many people combining in a set of local injections or “reincarnations” (this could lead to strange effects…e.g., a single person remembering simultaneous “past lifetimes”)." If you're someone who can commit to teleology, then there are better options available than reincarnation (e.g., resurrection), but they carry higher moral requirements.

I find it useful to try to understand God’s first principles and intentions when creating our universe. From our perspective the foundational properties we see in God’s creation are expressions of his first principles, (harmony, logistics and existence). These same first principles are the foundational principles we use to create our linguistic and social systems. Everything is spoken into existence whether It’s God or us creating.

An easy one is how he avoids what philosophers call "degrees of confidence" to mean "faith". There's even a whole methodology within epistemology used to calculate these degrees of confidence called Bayesian reasoning. Faith is not a word philosophers use unless discussing belief without any evidence. Even then they use words like presupposition or brute fact. This level of misuse of basic philosophy terminology is like saying I know what a catalytic converter is because I have an idea of what a catalyst and a conversion is in common language.

The Word of God reveals and trains even simple men and women in the logic needed to know the truth. Our accumulated learned and experienced knowledge (both directly personal and shared among each other) in turn serves to broaden by further application our experienced understanding of truth and logic. Our failure to be in turn true to a truly enlightened state is the measure of our sinful or ignorant state, which is something that we all are inherently subject to by our personal failure to see through deception and lies that serve as opposing forces to truth. Only by knowing the ultimate TRUTH as HE was embodied physically (by studying the WORD of God) and then more directly through a real relationship in the SPIRIT with the person that is Jesus CHRIST can we hope to be enlightened. Then our personal life experience and knowledge could start to manifest something approaching complete logic that will adhere to and be sustained by the highest and awesome perfect universal law of God’s love as a real lived experience.
