It's too bad he's gone. Music is legendary. Growing up in the rodeo world and being a former contestant, he would come out and sing for free. Chris had no problem getting behind the chutes with the cowboys and not afraid to get dirty. Back in Jan of 1998, at the IPRA Finals in Oklahoma City, me and my travel partners got to sit with Chris and the band at a steak house. Down to earth and we all had a great time. Outstanding man and I felt honored to meet him and the band. He is really missed.

I bought my first Chris Ledoux music on 8-track tape from a feed store in Mountain Home, Idaho in 1977. I have loved his music from that day on.

Yes, Those old 8-tracks got converted to cassettes and then to C.D.'s, Every time we went to the big city, I would have to stop off at the local western supply and feed store, and get his latest tape.

Really in 1977 Idaho I was 6 years old then and remember him I lived in Orchards Washington at that time helping my father work on our vehicles, He always had a radio playing in the background in our garage and eating bolagnie sandwiches with car grease on the Bread! Best times ever had with my Father!!!

R.I.P. Chris, he was a true country legend, I`m 11 years old and he has already changed my life forever. what i would give to still have him with us and go to a concert is outrageous, i know every song he has ever put out and could recite any on the dot
