It's too bad he's gone. Music is legendary. Growing up in the rodeo world and being a former contestant, he would come out and sing for free. Chris had no problem getting behind the chutes with the cowboys and not afraid to get dirty. Back in Jan of 1998, at the IPRA Finals in Oklahoma City, me and my travel partners got to sit with Chris and the band at a steak house. Down to earth and we all had a great time. Outstanding man and I felt honored to meet him and the band. He is really missed.

When I was three years old I had a cowboy hat just like his and during one of his concerts my dad took me up to the outdoor stage and Chris signed my hat and when I got back I said "That man just put ABCs on my hat".
