We lost Chris far too early, and you just know Ned feels it more than any of us, you can hear the emotion in his voice here, this song is just special and hearing it living on through Chris' son is just amazing.

@@robertbowen6610 My best friend, a brother in all but blood, passed almost at the exact time Chris did. He played almost all LeDoux in his truck and when at home. He rode until his body wouldn't let him, then he joined the VFD and he's why I joined my VFD. He and Chris will likely be singing and joking for a few million years once we're all home with God. When I lived near Tx Motor Speedway, we were just down the street from the Minicks (sp?) who owned part of Billy Bob's. I helped Pam load a horse that wasn't listening, and she gave me reserved tickets to Chris' last show at BBT, I'll never forget that night.

In 77 I bought a tape off Chris Ledoux at Cheyenne frontier days. He sold them off the tail gate at the rodeo. His songs were on the local bar juke boxes. He was the real deal cowboy.

Cheyenne WY native, this is a wonderful tribute to his pops. Just LeDoux it! Interestingly enough my father had the same autoimmune/liver condition Chris suffered from. My dad was blessed to receive a transplant and is still with us. Never take for granted those you love.

I was introduced to your dad's music back in the early 1980's. I was in the U.S. Navy, one of my best friends from that time was a small Wyoming cowboy. I'm 6 feet 3 inches so most people I think of as small best guess he was around 5 feet 6 or 7 inches. He turned me on to your father's music, I am hoping you can add to my collection of music of his with your own songs of cowboys and redeo life. Please keep a little of the west a live for this old eastern city boy.
