I love this. I suppose it will always make me cry but there's also such an element of joy in it, in the performance and in Chris's intro. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I could have become ARMY a few years earlier if I wouldn't have let preconceptions hold me back, but I'm here now and so thankful.

I feel so grateful to Coldplay for the friendship and deep mutual respect they have developed with BTS. I mean, who else could understand the unique pressures of being one of the biggest bands in the world? Obviously there are some big differences but they seem very supportive and happy to share whatever wisdom they have gained over their nearly 25 years. They appear to be cut from a similar cloth of leading with love and authenticity. I’m so glad Jin got to be there with them for that beautiful sendoff performance.

I don't think this song is so sad compared to other sad songs, but what makes this song emotional for everyone, crying is the moment, the moment of Jin and coldplay on stage and while watching the performance we also thought that it was Jin's last stage before leaving us for the military, moreover, this song was created with the aim of saying goodbye

Thank you for sharing and being transparent. Before I listen to BTS discographies and get to know them, I often would tune out their songs and accomplishments, yes I know that they are super famous and have huge fan based but my narrow minded self don’t even give them a chance. I am glad that I finally did and realised, so what that they speak/sing in another languages, that doesn’t mean they are any less talented. In fact that just means they have to work extra hard to get the recognition they received today. Getting to know how involved they are with social issues, been vocal with many youth concerns, many encouraging message make me stan them. Thank you again, also Jin & Chris SLAY! That cute moment make Jin look extra endearing.

Thank you for watching this and for your thoughtful response. One of my great sadnesses in my seventh decade is that BTS is still mis-characterised as a "boy band". They are, I suppose, a boy band in the same way that the Beatles were boy bands. Sadly our "western" idea of a "boy band" is coloured by so many manufactured boy bands hastily assembled and usually given songs to sing and simple choreo to perform. In fact, yes, like most Idol groups BTS was assembled by Bang PD, but there was little haste - they trained for up to three years - Jimin had the shortest period as a trainee because he joined in late 2012 before they debut in June 2013. In Kpop terms, many trainees are in training for much longer, but BigHit needed the income. The pressure on these mostly teenagers! Have you explored any of the fan documentaries about BTS' background - many excellent ones and I think you might enjoy.
