I love the way Chris talks...he doesn't just say the first thing that comes to mind, he thinks about what he is going to say and he takes the time to construct his sentences. I love it, and the softness of his voice, it all comes together and it's so calming.

His replies aren't reactions, they're _responses_ . The difference is: reactions are automatically triggered when something touches an old emotional wound. When a person has _accepted_ their uncomfortable feelings, this is what changes: their wounds from the past no longer bleed as reactions. The wounds are now the understood scars of awareness. Awareness is the flashlight that allows for internal investigation (this explains the time it takes before an answer comes out) and the clearest way of verbalising what is there.

Sometimes it still amazes me how amazing Chris can really be. I hear some people say things that just aren't true about Chris and the entire band, sometimes they even say it to me (I'm a huge Coldplay fan) but I just tell them "that's not true" and I remember what Chris says about about if people like the band that's great and if they don't well that's okay. It sometimes just kinda bothers me about how people can just say hateful things about another person. I can say that I don't sometimes think negative things, I have done it many times and I usually just say to myself "stop thinking about the negative and think about the positive". Chris, Jonny, Guy, Will and Phil are my idols I really do look up to them and they really do inspire me to do better in school. They have impacted so much in my life for the better, sometimes when I have had a bad day or I'm just feeling kinda down I listen to their music, they're music help me make it a better day! It’s amazing how a generation of people can relate in emotion, perspective and thought process. Every record they’ve come out with always seems to be what I’m dealing with intimately in my life. The realization that the massive following of the band also connects. We are all connected and support each other. Thank you Coldplay!

Everytime I listen to his words or watch any of his videos or listen to his songs I feel this wondeful positive energy around me. He's such an outstanding marvelous person that loves to love and spread love. He shows his feelings and thoughts and is not afraid of expressing himself and what I like most about him as a person is that he doesn't mind how others think, not of him, but how they ask questions about his personal matters he simply takes them as they are and try to answer them in a way that makes the one asking satisfied. I can go on and on about how he made me feel secure about myself and helped me love myself the way I am and not mind a lot of things, but I reckon that words or at least words in my vocabulary won't do his wonderful soul and him any justice I simply love him beyond words. Maybe the perfect word for me to describe him is LOVE as he is full of love. God bless him By the way I loved the interview :)

I think what Zane Lowe does brilliantly here is his level of research prior to the interview which is what made it such a compelling listen and gave Chris the confidence to really open up on this album. I’ve come back and listened to this interview a good 5 times because I love how these two bounce off each other. It’s shown at 12:57 with Chris almost laughing because he can appreciate just how much knowledge Lowe has. He knows he is talking to someone that gets it.

Yes - 100% this. Chris is not an easy person to interview and Zane knew how to respect his boundaries while extracting new information and deep insight….

I'm not an English speaker, so it's not easy to understand grasp the full meaning of Chris's answers. I felt the great sensitivity, honesty in his work and in his conception of carrying out his musical creation in line with his reason to live, homage to EDM and genial Avicii, and collaboration with him , he died shortly after, peace to his soul, I cry, he was so young and a beautiful soul. I love Chris, his philosophy of life, his mystical references, his sincerity, it is a being of love, he transmits this love around him, the great respect for his group, the interactions with his entourage, his family, society, humans. Chris you are a being of light, you enlighten us. the variety of your melodies are the reflection of your kaleidoscopic spirit, which captures the complexity of this world and of the beings that people it. oh a philosophical discussion the above must be great with you. I hope to have one day with you the fabulous Chris. the philosopher of life. love, live, love, love

14:10 is exactly why Ghost Stories is my favorite album of all time, and probably always will be. That feeling is so relatable on a personal level, and I’ve just always felt that the entire album does a perfect job of encapsulating that feeling.
