Now that Chris has left, it's a bittersweet little thing for me that I've got the two top comments on this page. But Chris, if you ever read this, I have to say you really were the only reason I listened to Radio 1. That, and I will never consider myself old enough to listen to Radio 2. As much as I don't hate Grimmy, he will never, NEVER be able to fill your shoes, nor will he be able to attract the numbers Ben's after. It's a mistake, they will realise sooner rather than later. Have to say, I saw this coming a mile off, and given the millions and millions of pounds Chris (& his team) have raised for charity, he's more than deserving of the honour of carrying the torch. 5 years ago, probably not. I would much rather watch someone that I had never heard of but I knew that he/she was picked to carry it because they had either helped their community in a number of different ways, undertaken in a variety of voluntary work and played sport!!
