A gifted Hollywood actor Chris Noth was born in 1954. He started his acting career from a theatre stage, moving gradually to a big screen. He first appeared on TV in 1981 in a movie called Off Beat. After that he had been playing only minor roles for a couple of years that couldn’t bring him international recognition.
Then he was invited to feature in Law & Order, where he played one of the main characters. However, a real breakthrough in Noth’s career happened due to TV series Sex and the City, where he portrayed John Preston or “Mr. Big”. After that, his career dramatically improved and he was simply piled up with offers. The actor can be seen in such popular films as The Perfect Man, The Good Wife, Julius Caesar and so many others.
Apart from being a successful film performer, Noth is also a great businessman. He owns a musical club located in Manhattan, New York, where a huge number of celebrities tend to perform.

The celebrity’s father Charles worked as a salesman. He died tragically in 1966, at the age of 44 in a car accident. At that time, Chris was only 8. That’s why he doesn’t remember much about his father.
The mother’s name was Jeanne and she was a CBS correspondent. Apart from that, she was a model and an author of a book that described the wives of athletes. The mother and son had always been very close and Jeanne was extremely proud of all son’s achievement in the moviemaking industry and not only. That’s why her death in 2016, aged 92 was a big loss.
The famous actor has two brothers. The first one is named Michael and he works as a psychotherapist.
Charles is another brother, who is a lawyer by profession. All three siblings share a tight bond and support each other, no matter what.
Speaking of the celebrity’s personal life, he had been dating the love of his life Tara Wilson since 2002 until finally marrying her in spring of 2012. It would be interesting to know that many people were against this marriage and the actor even used to get hate mail just because Tara is black. However, all this didn’t matter for the two love birds and their love is stronger than ever, no matter what third parties have to say.
In 2008 Noth became a father for the very first time to a baby-boy Orion. He looks very much alike his famed dad and in addition, also has an amazing sense of humor just like Chris.
