I finally just watched Moone Boy after this interview. I follow Chris on Twitter and he's tweets about it alot, but never really knew what it was about. I didnt realize it was so easy to watch, on Hulu. As an American, I just assumed it was on a UK station and a bitch to find online so, unfortunately, never thought to seek it out. I cant recommend that show enough! It really reminds me of The Wonder Years, if anyone is familiar with that. It's incredibly sweet without being corny and absolutely hilarious. The writing is very, very good. The kid is hilarious!! I definitely recommend this!

I’m an American who really had no idea who Chris O’Dowd really was before I started religiously streaming Get Shorty with my wife. She knew him from a couple other things. She said “he’s a comedian. He’s cute and funny”. I didn’t really know what shes was talking about. The guy I know from my new favorite show is a mans man. He’s serious. He doesn’t take shite! He’s a fighter. Tough guy. So believable I might add that when I was curious to see previous endeavors including getting to know the actor in the clips like this one, it’s hard for me to imagine he’s really this guy and not the one I know from Get Shorty. A little disappointed he’s not more like the get shorty character IRL and impressed by his acting range all at the same time. This whole time I thought he was Robert DeNiro and he’s really Harry Anderson. Cheers Chris

You didn't get that he was joking and neither did Jonathan. When Jonathan jokingly asks if the brick talked first Chris pretends that Jonathan is simply an idiot for asking (or more like he himself must apologize for being unclear before) and informs him that "it was a BRICK". He actually does this twice because Jonathan fails to go along the first time. It's a misunderstanding of a misunderstanding.
