Facts. I reckon because they fear they might lose their job or they’re jealous that you’re offered something that they didn’t chase after. I left a job because my boss would bury everyone on the phone to head office (just to secure his position) regular checking in to head office, talking about every single employee and an old man who was a mentor still relied on me to work in his section (where I started) while he goes on break when I’m supposed to be working in my new section, learning new things and he decided to be a pest and tell everyone about 1x 600mm bit of timber that I gave away for free just because he wanted it all for himself and not given to any customer that are in need. Look out for yourself. Don’t let people push you over and stand firm in who you are and what you want to accomplish at work.
