In all honesty, I'm surprised Chris doesn't make appearances at conventions. I think he'd be surprised at how many X-Men fans are Gambit fans because of him. I mean, the character voice he gave Remy Lebeau/Gambit in the 90s cartoon was so good that it's really kind of hard to hear somebody else's voice with that character. Phil Lamarr and others are great, but Chris nailed Gambit's personality to a T.

Growing up in Lambeth, Ontario and then London, I got to know Chris when he played with the Black brothers (Rob & Rich) in the rock band "Licks". Chris was an excellent lead vocalist!!! Congratulations on a terrific career, my friend!!! From Tim ( Whitey's ) brother in Leamington, Ontario.

As others have said, he doesn't sound much like Gambit--partly because of time and of course the Cajun accent, but I think another aspect is that he seems to speak in a lower register.

I would so watch that show! Actually found all five seasons of kung fu The Legend Continues for sale online. I'm halfway through season 2 right now. I would love a 3rd incarnation of kung fu.

One of the last episodes, I think it was Time Prisoners, there's a scene where Jordan, Peter's girlfriend, really wants to tell him something. Seems important. She seems hesitant to say it tho. She says "maybe I should just blurt it out" but she doesn't cuz peter & Kermit are in a hurry & go off to fight crime, to try to help save captain simms & Caine...well we never learned what she was going to tell him. The show never tells us. This has been bugging me for years! Lol I thought it was going to be "I'm pregnant". Lol

Only I dunno what his child would be. I dunno if they'd be a cop too but the cop and priest duo is what made kung fu the legend continues so exciting & entertaining...& probably why the show ended when Peter became a priest.

@evilspin Ya , it`s funny ! Gambit`s Cajun and he`s been mostly voiced by Canadians in animation and played by a Canadian in live-action ! Rogue`s a Southerner who`s been voiced by an Aussie-born Canadian , a bunch more Canadians and is played by a Kiwi in Live-Action ! Logan`s from Alberta and voiced by a bunch of Americans and only one Canadian ( living in Vancouver , not Alberta ) who was born in Brisbane !

@evilspin Sabretooth`s Canadian voiced by a bunch of Canadians , played by a Canadian in live-action who is then replaced by a Jewish-American who admittedly does a near-perfect Alberta accent ( even if he does slip up a wee bit on the word " call " ) ! Pyro`s a Sydneysider voiced by a bunch of Americans , a couple Brits and a Canadian in animation and played by a Bostonian in live-action ( Okay , admittedly Aussie & some Bostonian accents are kinda similar ) ! Noticin` a pattern here ?

Is it really him? It doesn't sound exactly like Gambit, but well, times goes by and he probably changes his voice depending on the character. But yes, his voice kinda has Gambit's deepness, somehow. Aw.

If the actor respects the characters they are playing, it doesnt really matter where they are from. Wolverine is from canada but, so is Justin Bieber. Al Pacino did Scarface well.. Christian (Former WWe Wrestler) reminds me alot of Iceman, so Im cool with Canadians playing him. I hate what they did to Storm in the films.. Halle Berry could've pulled it off, but the role was so poorly written, there was nothing she could do...She would'nt be my first choice for storm though.
