Amazing music, very nice theme, the piece goes in a crescendo of momentum, from almost vamp-based morphing into harmonically rich/nuanced at the second half, leading into Rueben Rogers great bass solo.Chris is a giant player/soloist who has been steadily growing as a composer too - great to hear him creating those washes of flute texture with the loop pedal - I wonder if it was meant to be playing throughout the 'modal' first part...plus nice to hear him playing Wurly/Synth behind Rogers, and of course one can't go wrong with Eric Harland on the drums, him and Rogers are really tight.
