Man, Chris is the best. Top 5 most down to earth Hollywood actors. Jocko is a great leader in this country, bringing back manufacturing to this country, something we sorely need. From Eastern Tennessee, we're going to make it by any means necessary! We lost our homes and the government wants to offer us $750 dollars? Half of everyone has been turned down because of lack of paperwork that's been destroyed by the hurricane. Its just not making any sense to me personally, seeing that I did 30 years in the navy, and I honestly know what we're cable of doing. Yet it took a week for boots on the ground from our government to show up. Thank God for individuals like these three right here and other people volunteering their own time to help those who truly need it.

I'm trying hard to not make this tragedy somehow political, but seeing how FEMA has responded in a negative way, I'm begging people to do whatever it takes to vote next month. We must have leadership that will look out for us first. We pay all the bills, we come first.

Our government has changed in ways that's totally shocking to me, especially after retirement from the united states navy where we never hesitated whenever it came to our country's civilian people needing any type of assistance, whether it was a big devastating disaster or just a helping hand with backing up prison rioting or escaped prisoners and man hunts for certain wanted suspects involved in violent attacks against law enforcement agencies. We never thought twice about grabbing our gear and heading out within a few hours' notice. I'm sorry to say that the type of military I retired from is long gone. Extreme Progressive leadership took over, and the rest is just a pathetic attack from within the training and going all the way to the top of the commanding officer's trying to get a political career after their service is done.

Amazing given the severity of the devastation that they just deployed 1000 soldiers from an Army engineering battalion. What they need to do is get like 15000 or 20000 of these types from the military and bring the equipment to clear roads and cross rivers with temporary bridging. Yet the Guard and Army are being deployed in dribs and drabs by the heartless bureaucrats Mayorkas, Biden/Kackles. Now with another hurricane bearing down on Florida where Helene hit i am sure the despair is setting in to the citizens in harms way as FEMA is broke yet illegals sit in hotels with daily maid service, food, clothes, medical care, cell phones and debit cards. Thats why we need Trump in '24 to end this lunacy.

We need some loggers to come in and build old school roads and bridges the way our Dad's and Grandfathers did. They used the materials around them, Trees were logged and laid for bridges, roads were cut in by old school blade work. We can't wait for road crews to come in and build.

A person or two man team with a 4x4 vehicle, chainsaw, supplies and camping equipment to sustain yourself is important. Do not show up in the disaster area out of gas, water and food. Black Mountain NC has a good set up. There is a HQ building with a county map. They are sending search teams up the county roads. The search teams are radioing back with needs. They have crews with 4x4 vehicles, chainsaws, tools and fuel / oil etc. They also have a large staging area crews are working with trucks, trailers and skid steers. These guys go up and push trees and debris out of the way search teams call in. They have a flat, grassy, well drained camping area, vehicle equipment parking area and a helo pad on the Pisgah Brewing Company property. The Pisgah Brewing Company property is on US 70 just west of the town of Black Mountain NC, accessible by Interstate 40.

I have family up there and I haven't been able to get in touch with them. They live in the Old Fort and Bat Cave area.😭😭😭 I live on the eastern side of North Carolina. When I responded in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, hotels were completely overtaken by FEMA employees. These are hotels that should have been allocated to families who lost everything. Ive heard the same situation is occurring there. This is unacceptable.
