3 out of 5, he started in Hartford. But yeah, I hear you. And Edmonton and Philly weren't exactly elite teams. The only great teams Pronger played on were Anaheim of 2007 and late 90's/early 00's Blues (at least arguably, the Blues of that era had åpotential for greatness).

chris pronger is a great person! this is a very big game for us! and i can see why he wanted the puck! we made it to the cup just 3 or 4 years after we rebuilt our offense, then let that settle, then we rebuilt our deffense and at this ime, it was still growing! you got keith beat! every ranking i looked at has pronger in the top 5! keith only showed up in the top 10 once out of all of them! kieth shows up as about kimo timonen's skill! pronger is a true blue liner!

But now that it's only twice, and he does his antics in a whole other Conference I've got to say--This guy's pretty hilarious. Pronger is NOT an asshole. He's a fantastic player and a good guy. He just doesn't like getting harrassed by the stupid press. He wants to answer their questions ONCE and be done with it. He tells them that firmly but politely. He doesn't use bad language with them or anything. Who can blame him for being a bit annoyed with them? They're like vampires!

I'll tell you what. I'm a true blue sharks fan. Every time he gets the puck the shark fans boo. But the boy can play. He is the complete defensive player. He can pass,hit, and control the man in front of the net. He may be a brat but its better than all the mundane comments all the other players make during interviews. In Pronger is on any team. They always have a chance to win the cup.

People hate Pronger and though he has some incidents where he's lost his temper and done stuff like the stomp on Kesler or the head-high hit on Holmstrom, but overall Pronger is not really as dirty as people let on. He's a veteran who just knows the rules and pushes them, and he also knows how to get under people's skin, which may make him come off as an asshole but can actually be very useful in games.

@ChicagoIrishman1 I'll "lay off the coffee" when you find something Pronger did that actually deserves criticism. I've seen a lot of players take the puck after their team has lost. So no, I don't find it to be odd at all. Pronger may be older, but he's smart. He used to be quite the fighter when he was younger, and he doesn't do that anymore because he KNOWS he's older. He's still out there kicking ass on the ice.
