The corruption of Waldorf education through AWSNA recommended consultants is tragic.

I am one of the supporters of Prosser family who is a retired Waldorf teacher. I am sick at heart to see the degradation of Waldorf Education.

I only passively pay attention to Woldorf and pretty new to Steiner, but it is disappointing to hear that the Austin Woldorf school is forcing CRT on students. I studied critical theory intensively in graduate school and I have never felt convinced that it is a legitimate field of study, but it is clearly divisive and not suitable for children. It certainly is at odds with the philosophy of Woldorf education. Very shameful that teachers were allowed to work there who force their ideology on other, they should all resign or be fired.

Well said, mate. This channel is a great resource to learn about Steiner's original intentions and conceptions concerning Waldorf. Did you come across any "theorists" that implicitly or explicitly addressed the necessity to disseminate their dogma unto children? How did CRT venture into the domain of education, public or private? Certainly, this dogma (true or not) is not developmentally appropriate to share with children. Not to mention it's lack of concern for genuine teaching and learning.

@@lukajung9051 honestly I didn't encounter anyone during my time in the university who felt that children should learn it. It was viewed as an advanced topic to be explored in higher education. This is why it is odd for it to be brought into grade school. CRT is a subset of the broader field of Critical Theory, which is an analysis and critique of norms and assumptions in society to emancipate oppressed groups. To give a very short summary of my problem with the critical theory literature - whenever critical theorists uncover an aspect of oppression, they skip the step of examining if the oppression is really oppression if viewed in different contexts, or if the remedies prescribed are hostile in nature. Basically the CT methodology designed to examine assumptions also operates under assumptions that it doesn't question, and even treats the act of questioning it as a manifestation of opposition. Practitioners will deny this, but it's evidential that they are dogmatic about the "mission" of CT from the dismissive attitudes towards concerns people have toward the theory. This is contrary to what academic disciplines are supposed to be based on, the examination and interpretation of quantitative and qualitative observations through research.

I am a baby boomer and have been studying Spiritual Science since 1979. Most humans were getting along without the push and becoming more understanding of each other in a natural way. Ahriman will hinder the goodness of Waldorf.

Me and 2 friends go to Austin Waldorf and have experienced some sorts of racism. Me and one of my friends are leaving this school next year. We do NOT recommend this school to anybody. Our teacher is very passive aggressive and mean. Personal experience: There are 2 rly bad students in this class, I am one of them. One of them is white and one of them is brown. Guess who? I used to do lunch check-ins every day, he did nothing and never got yelled at. And he has more missing assignments and is worse than me. The also treats all of the poc students not very good. Especially the Indian kids.

What's great is that you have a life situation where you are fortunate enough to be able to choose the school you attend.
