A unique, brilliant musician with no equal in the last 50 years.. I am 72 and followed him forever. He is an amazing writer and performer who should be celebrated by our nation. He was born and bred in my hometown and I came across him a few times when he was just self learning the guitar upstairs in one of his dads cafes.

I was there. 20 at the time. Travelled from up north. Went because I not only liked his songs and voice, but also wanted to see his amazing guitar player. I was shocked when it turned out HE was the guitar player! Never looked at other guitarists the same again.

I've been listening to Chris Rea since I discovered him by accident in 1987 (went 'round to friend's house and he was playing the Dancing with Strangers album) but he still floors me after all these years. Forever grateful to my mate Mark for introducing me to the music of Chris Rea.

Is it the full concert, it's a bit short, no ? usually, the shows of Chris are over 1h30... However it's a great concert the set list is very good with some songs from the blue cafe album, one of his best and the sound is very good. Thank you for posting Achilleas !!!
