This is the song that got me into them and made me discover the rest of their discography!!

a friend introduced me to DGD back when they were brand new in 2005 and i liked them but i stopped listening shortly after KT joined. not causee i didnt like them anymore just didnt keep up with them. Then one day i heard this song and was like "who tf is this?" lol i didnt even know that JC had joined again after KT left and then Tilian replaced him lmao Ever since i heard this song i went back and looked at all their stuff i missed. Favorite band hands down. Seen them live once already. Was suppose to go again but.... covid happened. Show got cancelled like 8 days before the show but going again in a few months. Sorry man little stoned and thought i would share since you mentioned this song being the one that got you into them

Dude awesome reaction! And yeah, that part IS a guitar. Will is known for using crazy effects and I am pretty sure he is using the Boss SY300 there. Does anyone else know? What's even better is his note choice! A perfect example of beautiful melodies with great effects is Son of Robot which I am sure you'll love. That song is beautiful and is one of my favorites ;)

This is probably their most popular song and it's a gateway song for DGD's Tilian era, I don't think anyone took that long to listen to it since discovering the band, it must be some kind of record lol. But I'm glad that you did and that you're experiencing every record, taking your time. Keep it up Chris!

I've learned a lot about song structures up to this point and you can kind of guess when a chorus or verse is ending, typically leading to a good moment to pause. But not in every case. There are always surprises ;)

I think this is a really good song, but it's definitely overrated by a lot of people. There is some cool vocal work and funkiness in the song but I personally think they have songs that are much better
