That is Chris Fehn, guy with the long nose, on the backup vocals. I personally love the way they alternate vocals on this song. Its so damn smooth live.

Technique is called "good cop - bad cop" Slipknot and Linkin Park really paved the way for that technique to be normalized in metal / rock music. It's borrowed from rap of course, and the rap-core subgenre that appeared in the early 90's eventually led to bands like the ones mentioned above to bring it into Nu-metal. 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
@mantymusic91094 жыл бұрын
That is Chris Fehn (long nose mask) doing back up vocals. I consider him the “main” backup vocalist when compared to clown as he does vocals by himself a lot of the time whereas clown sometimes does his, usually at the same time as Chris

One of the things I noticed watching your reactions.. You are very sensitive over high pitched sounds when I am kinda the opposite. I feel weird that drums don't get your attention most of the time but you put a finger on those sounds I barely noticed before. That was very cool as it made me appreciate the Sid's and Craig's work in those songs. Christopher: What was that sound? Me: I know right? Double kick comes in so good there Christopher: Crowd's roar was insane Me: Oh.. :D So I really appreciate that you are an active listener. Aware of whats going on in those songs.

I do notice the drum patterns most of the time but they don't always catch my attention as easily unless it's really something obvious. Drummers who are quite familiar though can pick up on those things so easily, or really anyone who knows more about that!

You asked about the keyboards while having paused the video at the keyboardist :D He is the one with the needles coming out of his head, Craig Jones, a.k.a. craig133. He does the keys in this album and before that any samples that you cannot attribute to Sid.
