If we're using his family to downplay his villainous acts as CEO how about we list the families that lost their loved ones because United Healthcare denied help. Do they matter less than the CEO's family? It is murder both ways.
@theredhood279612 күн бұрын
What’s worse is unlike the families that lost love ones due to health care being denied his wife was divorcing him and his kids weren’t speaking to him so I doubt they’re that devastated.
@jhansen466112 күн бұрын
You’re right about that. The thing is what Luigi Mangione did was actual murder, but what the CEO did was passive murder and they’d actually be equally reprehensible if it wasn’t for the fact that what Brian Thompson did was legal and he’s also got a way higher body count because of it. It’s like Joseph Stalin said, “the death of one person is a tragedy. The death of millions is just a number.”

@hazukichanx40813 күн бұрын
Yes but we're supposed to care more about the poor CEO because he was rich and therefore worth much more as a person! Why can't all the ungrateful people working themselves to death trying to afford their rent understand how thankful they should be for his claim denials in their hour of need?
@KingofFreaks13 күн бұрын
@hazukivhanx I’m supposed to feel sympathy for a Psychopathic rich kid that has ties to the health industry and killed a man because he wanted to take the law in his own hands and kill a man. At least the CEO’s got a family.
@KingofFreaks13 күн бұрын
@ That’s so stupid. I know this is bad but let’s ignore the worse “I killed a man and would do it again” and instead pay attention to a man who runs a healthcare business. I don’t care if the health administration is bad. It’s nobodies fault but the people who let it happen and continue. I don’t want to live in a world where somebody gets shot because they disagree or want to take the law in their own hands. Because that way leads to more death.

The people Kyle Rittenhouse shot had families, and the people condemning Luigi treat him like a hero. Every child, teacher and person shot in a mass shooting is someone's son or daughter, and the same people condemning Luigi can't be bothered to do anything to prevent the next one. Brian Thompson's death would not have happened if profit over lives wasn't the policy of the health insurance business. This was not the killing of an innocent man who helped people and contributed to society. This was the executioner of a mass murder whose company allowed people to suffer slow, agonizing deaths rather than put their families through crippling financial debt to stay alive. Every single person United Healthcare denied was someone's son or daughter, husband or wife, father or mother. They had families. Where's their sympathy?
