My grandma passed away exactly 1 week after my 15th birthday that was in 2006 now that the 10th year without her I'm sitting here in tears listening to this. This song would have been perfect to play at her funeral. She always told me and my dad that she was ready to meet god and be back with my grandpa. I miss her more and more each day. Chris, this was absolutely beautiful. As a Christian whose dad went home suddenly three years ago, I've been looking forward to The Great Reunion (as I call our Heavenly meeting) for a while now. I see Jesus preparing my home. In my mind, I've seen myself being accepted by God and Jesus, then stepping back and looking to my right where my dad stands with his arms open wide and other loved family and friends standing behind him to welcome me. Your song is very comforting to me. It reminds me that his last breath here was his first breath in the presence of God. Thank you for sharing your beautiful gifts and talents with us. This is the second time in less than a year that I have been drawn to this song. I found out today through a Facebook post that one of the girls who was just a year ahead of me in school passed away. I didn’t know her very well. We were in theater together but only shared the stage a few times.
