I really like Sims, but his position on the Bills seems ignorant and illogical. The Bills know they will have to deal with playing games generally (so will all NFL players). Treating replaying this particular game as though it has some special vodo and that not playing this matchup is more important than still having a good shot at the 1 seed and a bye seems bizzare to me. I'm not a pro player, but i bet if you asked any player present or past if they had suffered the same would you want your team to lose out on any little chance for equal competitive opportunity.... 100% of them would say move forward and play.

It sucks that this happened, and everyone wants the kid to get better, of course, but the game needs to be played or just cheapens the season. However that looks, fine. I love Tomlin and I agree more minority coaches need to be hired. To play Devil's Advocate though on Wilke's...I will say they need to take a close look and talk to all of their key players. There is a chance Wilke's can end up 5-6 after this week, playing in the worst division. Teams need to do more than just play hard to be contenders. There's more to it than just getting a team to play hard. Will he attract a top tier QB that can take them to the next level? Etc etc etc.
