Okay yea in theory they could do that but for what?? It doesn’t mean the QB behind him is any better. He’s almost certainly worse. If the backup was better than he’d be starting by now, cuz he’d be outplaying him in practice and it would be too obvious to ignore. Plus, I’m not really a Hurts fan, but I truly think that this problem goes deeper than Hurts. All casual basic fans go right to the QB but that’s usually not the problem, even when the QB isn’t playing well. But it takes deeper film study skills to be able to see that

KC haven't been impressive they're sleep walking to the playoffs like they've done every year for the last 4 years or so. They are impressive in how they win without really playing well. But the Vikings look more impressive in terms of how they've beat the crap out of everyone they've played. The chiefs season doesn't start till January we all know that.

Jags HC Pederson and their QB Lawrence are both overrated. Especially Lawrence. The Jags may have to start from scratch in terms of coaching. Lawrence ain't going anywhere. As for Jayden Daniels he's not only competing for ROY this young man just may have the right team, right HC and definitely the right OC and could be a MVP candidate. His poise in the pocket reminds me of Texans QB CJ Stroud, but with much better "wheels".if Daniels stays healthy the sky is the limit.

With Kingsbury’s history, and with the history of running QBs overall, I would not be willing to go as far as you are in belief. Kingsbury, every year, started off hot and had everybody amazed. Then the defenses figure him out and he has no counter punch. His offenses have been shallow and not very complex. Maybe he’s added to his repertoire but I gotta see it to believe it. As for Daniels, he looks great. Love to see it. But just like Simms said, he’s running the same offense he had in college. That is such a convenient favor to have as a rookie QB, a favor that none of the other rookie QBs have. Plus, we’ve seen so many times over the years, a dynamic rookie QB takes the league by storm the first half of the year, and just like the Kingsbury example, tape piles up, someone cracks the code, and the rest of the league copies it and the rookie QB comes back down to earth. We saw it with RGIII, Cam, Kyler, Vince Young, so many examples. The real test is what the rookie QB does after they’ve figured out your tricks

Lamar is still the same as when he was in college...just bigger, stronger, faster...and not a consistently great passer... But, running him as much as they are, may help them win some games, BUT, as history shows, HE'S GONNA GET HURT....(SEE, RG3, Michael Vick, the guy who played in Philly, uh Carson Wentz?... Chris Simms one major flaw is his ability to bandwagon jump a player and/or team prematurely and cheerlead support with bullhorn energy. The latest example is Darnold & the Vikings... Yes they are having a fantastic season, so far, and the Vikings are clearly the best team in the NFL on both sides of the ball thru 4 weeks... But lets pump the brakes and slow the 🍆riding train just a bit. Lets check back n wit the Vikings somewhere around week 9/10 and see how Darnold is playing and what their overall record is before we officially crown them regular season Champs🏆 😮

Dan Patrick is the most entitled, delusional yet arrogant and ignorant person in sports media. He doesn’t know anything on the field, doesn’t watch any film at all. How many games do you think he even watches throughout the week? 3-4 maybe?? And the live games show you nothing about what’s really going on. You can’t even see the defense. So Dan Patrick is clueless, yet he somehow thinks he knows better about football topics than Brady and Belicheck. It’s just pathetic. The entitlement and laziness is unmatched
