I love all of these musicians but I came here for Trucks and I love watching others reactions around him more than him himself. Wild talent probably the best slide player there ever was I’ve never seen a musician now be in awe by his playing

Derek is such a wizard. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to a solo and wanted it to end. I want him to take over and extend everything out for 15+ mins…..but his art is to kinda not over do it. He never takes over like anyone else with his talent probably would It hints at his nature or personality….even if you don’t have a feel for him and you just listen to him live…it’s pretty obvious that he’s humble and low key. I don’t have the words for it but he’s tasteful and stays within a song…. Instead of letting his nuts hang and making sure everyone knows hes one of the best guitarists alive

I am so glad to hear this. I was at this show. I had a ticket one row in front of the mixing board. The sound was terrible. Most of the time I couldn't hear the lyrics. As I learned the Globe is known for its acoustic characteristics . Pretty expensive lesson but aren't most in one way or another?
