It almost feels like 70's when you went to a show & they might have a few lights but that was it. It was all abt the music, the singer & band. Good example was Lynyrd Skynyrd. Just great Southern Rock, no fancy stuff, just a singer who just stood there singing but he was mesmerizing, you couldn't take your eyes off him & the guys in the band. That's how Chris is, he is the real deal! I haveseen him 3 times. My daughter & I & every yr we say who do we want to see this time? We go through a bunch if great names but we always go back to see Chris, it's almost spiritual if that makes sense. We did go see Eric Church one yr but always get drawn back to Chris!❤

Your post reminds me of a WWE show I went to one time in South Louisiana. We had just seen Lynyrd Skynyrd (around 2018) , I was wearing my concert shirt and there was an older black guy checking tickets and he saw my shirt and he said "What you know bout Lynyrd Skynyrd", like he lived through it and I didn't even though I was a huge fan. I'm thinking, this is a black guy in the south that listened to Lynyrd through the stars and bars days because it was damn good music and he was questioning my fanhood, lol.

One of the greatest voices in all of music. Guy is a MONSTER. Having his wife onstage and they are always facing eachother. Beautiful. Amazing how this song was written many years ago for consideration for a Lone Ranger movie. Man whoever passed on this both made a huge mistake AND did us all a favor. Chris is the real deal. No backing tracks. No choreography and bullshit. Real musicians bringing it. There is hope for music after all.
