He'll do fine. This one was more subtle, less brutal, in how he came out on top. I think this actually shows other artists how well Ren can match the energy of the song and not twist it (while he slays it). But at the end of the day, Ren has a fanatic support base that brings eyes and algorithm to everything he touches. People are willing to get bodied for that opportunity. They didn't stop asking Em. One of his collabs said (can't remember who and paraphrasing) that when Em was on the track, you already knew you were getting bodied. It was whether or not you did enough prep to at least make it look like a fight.
