On your point of being scared before an unfamiliar install... I just did a rear sway bar swap out from oem to a megans racing 22mm, 2016 legacy 3.6r. I did it at work with all the other employees watching me.. It took 2hrs because I've only seen it done once. There was a couple times where I thought I was driving home with no sway bar because I was having such a hard time of it. But eventually I slowed my brain down and made sure I had all the tools in reach and got it done. Now I know the steps to speed things up for next time. I love the feel of suspension upgrades.

Nice vid. I have a 2020 STI as well. The trick to putting the intercooler back on easier is to grab your 12mm and remove the intercooler bracket on the driver side. Put the throttle body coupler on the throttle body first. Loosely put the two clamps over the coupler. Tilt the intercooler up with your right hand and down with your left hand. Wiggle the other coupler on to the turbo then on to the throttle body. After doing this a few times you should be able to have the intercooler on in 2 minutes or so. I would also recommend a fuel system upgrade before you add any performance parts to avoid experiencing fuel stumble.

I would do the frs for the coil overs. And for your backup camera just check to see if it’s getting power to it through a dmm. If it’s getting power check the ground. If those are both bad follow up the wires and find the problem, it could also be a pinched wire.

A hack for putting on the intercooler, take the hose right above the transmission out of the clip it’s in and then the hoses will easily fit on and then you can re attach the transmission breather hose back on after you have the intercooler pipes on.

Great content and the STI sounds amazing. N for the backup camera on the FRS contact the dealership if there might be a recall. My STI has a recall for the backup camera. Mine works 50/50.

AOS serves the same purpose as a catch can. The catch can just catches the oil while the AOS will separate the oil from the air and sends the oil back to be use again.

@@chris_borges - yes. With the larger DP and larger intake the stock injectors and pump can’t keep up. You’ll be running lean too much and it’s not good for the stock block. Also worth getting a wideband (AFR) gauge and putting the O2 sensor in the upper bung on the downpipe to monitor if you’re running lean or rich. Also - definitely get an EBCS (Grimmspeed or Cobb) to dial in the boost. The stock one is two port and the aftermarket ones are three port giving your tuner more control.

Hey homie, as an sti owner if you have an intake and dp your gonna want to do fueling mods bigger inyectors and pump minimum at the moment your more than likely maxing out your injectory duty cycle and sti's dont like that they tend to blow quicker if ya dont give them some more wiggle room aside from that your good!

def put the frs on coils!!! sti sounds so freaking good and i had a feeling that you were going to bag the sti sooner or later lol. little suggestion, you should look into getting a grimmspeed boost control solenoid to help regulate the boost. threw one on my wrx, got retuned and it helps with longevity and def made a difference! also seen come other comments about cylinder 4 cooling mod, upgraded injectors and fuel pump, killer b oil pickup and baffle, these are 100% some mods that you should also look into getting to keep the motor healthy! 💨💨💨
