Were you having a P420 code pop up when you did a downpipe. What was your fix? My tuner told me after the green speed update you couldn’t eliminate that o2 sensor through Cobb AP anymore.

Woah is the ETS louder then the Tomei ?
@Autofreakgarage4 ай бұрын
It’s around the same volume overall but deeper tone whereas the tomei is higher pitched.

This is a great video man! I currently have a Greddy SP on my Series.White STI (came like that) everything else is stock. Looking to change it out in the spring time...looking at an AWE Track as a replacement, possibly ETS extreme...so many options out there and like you said a lot of it is subjective to your set up/preference.. I don't plan on changing the downpipe anytime soon either. Your videos have been super helpful bro!

Glad to help! I ran a greddy back on the day on my hatch for a bit. It was a nice exhaust.

What year is the WRX? I just customized a 2015 on Forza Horizon 5 and the wheels on yours looks like Enkeis.

Will you ever start a new project with an Evo Lancer?

Love me a good evo. I think Devin has got the evo game covered on KZbin for all of us haha.

what size wastegate are you running?
@Autofreakgarage Жыл бұрын
44mm
@monkeykiid-390 Жыл бұрын
@@Autofreakgarage Thanks! i was debating on a 38mm but after hearing yours i like that yours doesn’t flutter!
@Autofreakgarage Жыл бұрын
You can have it tuned that way with either size. Having the flutter sounds cool, but it also works the wastegate more and can prematurely wear components faster. Whereas having it open totally will prolong the wastegate.

running AWE on my 2019 STI. I run touring tho, best out there. I've had like half of these in this review lol! also best tips imo - the black AWE ones are sick. thanks for the great reviews!
What resonator are you running with the ETS exhaust? Brand? Thanks

It’s the res that you can option with the ets midpipe.

Hey Scooby im torn between tomei or ets extreme. I currently have the ETS Extreme on my 20 sti and someone wants to trade me his Tomei. I want a loud exhaust. I used to have a tomei on my evo x and wanted to see if the tomei is louder than the ets extreme.
@Autofreakgarage Жыл бұрын
It’s overall around the same volume. Tomei is a bit higher pitched under higher rpm due to the titanium. However, I preferred the ets over the tomei.

I got a question. I recently installed a catback AWE Track Edition on my STI. But in all the connections there's liking water 💧 is that normal?
@Autofreakgarage Жыл бұрын
Just condensation. But sounds like you need to tighten the connection points. The water dripping is leaks between the exhaust pieces and gaskets.

this might be a long shot but do you or anyone know an exhaust that has a deep rumble and almost a thunderous sound to it? video isnt doing much justice but regardless its a great video :D

Did you ever find what you were looking for? The nameless axel back sounds incredible, but it’s more on the pricey end. Their axle back is about the same as a full system… I got one about a month ago and I’m very happy with it. 🙌🏼

Do you have to get a tune when you add an exhaust?
@Autofreakgarage2 жыл бұрын
Not needed if just a catback.

After all my exhaust research, I ended with two options: Nameless Performance vs ETS. I got the Nameless Performance without mufflers, and for me it’s perfect. It’s almost the same as the ETS in terms of construction. And now, Nameless has a single exit track pipe which I’m debating on trying it, but I don’t like the single exit setup. Any thoughts on including them in future videos? 😅

@@Autofreakgarage what no way really? so ets sounds better? gonna try it , I'm using tomei at 620whp sti
@Autofreakgarage Жыл бұрын
I liked the sound of the ets better since it’s stainless and provided a deeper tone without the tinny higher pitched noise of the titanium from the tomei. Tomei was a bit louder, but the ets sounded better overall to me.
@eliasf.74942 жыл бұрын
IMO, out of all the exhausts you tested, ETS is the best for its deep and loud sound. The Cobb titanium is ok and comes in 2nd and the AWE track would be my third choice. Wish you chose the Borla at some point. It is quiet when you want it to and very bassy when you get on the gas. Sounds like a muscle car when you keep it in the low RPMs and a classic Porsche turbo in the higher revs. It will sound magical on your car with your mods. 😝 Happy Holidays
