Chris, you're doing a great job with the help of Micky, just a suggestion, where safety glasses when trying to chop out the panels, a work colleague is now blind because a metal splinter flew onto his eye. The company we worked for then started supplying safety glasses to 450 employees. It's better to be safe than sorry. Love the channel, by the way 👍

Like the work you make , but i think this repair can be done much better , a couple of more minutes with a dolly and a hammer and the panel could be better without the need of that much filler :) , not bad for a fast repair but if you have taken your time could have been better specially on this type of car

Like the way you pulled the rear panel and adjoining panels before cutting them off (reverse the accident) only one criticism if I’m allowed, should have renewed the rear light panels. 👍🏻

Turn your welder up a bit and tack-weld nearly on top of each other. You'll get a deeper weld with less chance of blowing through. A second on and a second off 😉. 40 years experience

Should also mention securing that shielding gas bottle. If that falls over and knocks the valve off you have a couple more dents to repair.😉

Chris, you need a foam pad for the orbital sander, it will stop you creating low spots. cost 5 quid, easy peasy.

By just pulling at the spot welds you’ve more chance of ripping the metal & you can get spot weld drills for drilling out

I cut through a tendon on the back of my hand when only wearing flimsy gloves. Had to have surgery an a half pot splint on my hand to my elbow for two weeks. As for sharp metal and sparks in your eyes. Do yourselves a favour please. I could criticise your techniques and workmanship, but It’s far too easy for someone to do that.
