I have seen the problem you have with several N54s. It smokes when cats are removed. Because they were hot enough to burn any small amounts of oil in the exhaust completely. You may want to check the pcv system as it can cause the smoke as well. Good looking car and enjoyed the vid.

Turbos on the N54 do like to smoke, often found when all 4 cats are removed (the secondary cats on their own will hide the problem). I opted for 200 cell cats for the secondary with catless downpipes.

It looked as though something was wrong with the amount of smoke being thrown out once the new exhaust was fitted. Way too smokey. Turbo issues would be about right. Otherwise, love the colour and that carbon roof PPF looks great.

quick tip incase you didnt know, if you cant get a bolt loose with a wrench, because of the grip not being too long, grab a 2 foot long pipe or longer, put it over the grip and you wont need much effort to get it loose 🫡
