INSTALLING VAUXHALL CORSA PARTS IN MY BMW E82 135I 1M REPLICA

The factory seats in most BMW's are pretty unexciting which is fine in a normal day to day car, but not for the #bmw #1m replica that we have built on this channel.
I managed to stumble across some Vauxhall Corsa #recaro seats which have already been fitted in a N54 BMW. So its time to see if we can make them fully functional in my car.

Great video yet again on the E82. One thing that I would highly recommend which completely changes the back end of the car, are the LCI rear taillights. It makes it look much more modern and better than the pre-lci lights. There are also blacked out options if that's what you prefer.

You can get vac floor mounts and bolt them straight on to those which will put them lower again and you can adjust were they sit in regards to the handbrake too

They look amazing, almost like they were made to be in a BMW, but are they comfortable? I have the M-package seats and they are extremely comfortable and have 5 adjustable positions 1. Front-Rear 2. Up-Down 3. Backrest inclination 4. Inclination of the entire chair 5. The sides of the chair can provide more or less support

I removed my steering angle sensor and cleaned it when I had my 135i. Overtime it builds little crystals that can be wiped off with alcohol.

It is actually a lot more to do than just "drill two holes". Im doing the same process right now for my E90. You need to grind some stuff away. Get a passenger seat mat (or airbag delet dunny) and do all the wiring.

Never disconnect the battery on a bmw should always be on a battery support unit. Was an 800 quid mistake i made on a 3 series 2012

Theyre a pain to wire in as my seats are manual and m3 & m4 are electric apart from some m2 comp seats which are the same as those but manual but very expensive.

They are bud. Recaro makes them for multiple cars and in loads of different trims and spec. I’d agree with you that the corse ones don’t have the best materials or spec but they are still recaro cs seats

I have a 135i e82 too and i have all the interior trim ( central console (shifter frame and ashtray part) and dashboard strip), in Real Carbon Fiber (skinning) for an England car ( right steering wheel ) FOR SALE.
