Choosing plants for your herbaceous borders RHS Chelsea Flower Show

Chris Beardshaw tours the nursery where his RHS Chelsea Flower Show plants have been grown. Chris talks about some of the plants he will be using in his Morgan Stanley Garden and the role the plants will perform in the flower borders. Chris particularly wanted to have his plants grown in the new taupe pots which are 100% recyclable and also made from recycled plastic.

Chris, my all time favourite garden designer! Always very accessible, full of knowledge and with great communication skills. Love this year’s Chelsea garden......my favourite. Sometimes you don’t want to “read” or “decode” a garden’s message or understand where it’s coming from. Can it be enough to enjoy the design, the plants, the choice of colours and the movement of water or trees? You can always pick a small idea or cameo from Chris to reflect in one’s own little green space. Evie.x
