I really enjoyed your video and wrote down many of the varieties. I have a section of my yard called "The Back 40." It was wild and grown up with thickets. You couldn't even see through it when I moved in two years ago. With chain saws and weed wackers, and much digging, I now have it sort of ready to make beds. I plan on using some of your types of flowers to incorporate into this area. Thank you so much and happy gardening.

Oh, I like the Leycesteria! I have one on my street but couldn't figure out what it was, then one day I was browsing the internet and found some seeds of Cerinthe major 'Purpurascens' on a website and gave seedlings to my mom and grandma. They have a similar flower; but in blue-purple, and are an herbaceous annual..not a shrub. (And also apparently aggressive) So neat to find it after all this time! I also liked the Potentilla, my grandma takes vacations in Mexico frequently and is convinced it's pronounced with the double "L" as a "Y" sound...it's cute, but embarrassing when she asks for it at nurseries. She has an orange-red variety.

I would love to see what you could do with 100% North American native plants. You already use a lot of them. But no hybrids please. I'm starting an organic wildlife habitat. Have you ever seen a real snowball bush? They grow taller than hydrangeas but are native. (Hydrangeas remind me of glass garden globes.)

He's proving that he doesn't use stakes and showing the way they move and sound in the wind. If the plants were so tender that a brisk brushing or windy day would tear them up, they too would have be chunked over the hedge into the ditch. Not worth having on a border. Cheers from GA USA!
