This product is truly a SMART SCOPE at the highest level possible!!! I found a few shops online that stock this scope and I'm placing the order Thursday for the tournament kit. I am currently shooting a Apex Covert Pro single dot scope and absolutely love the accuracy and clear visual path of not having a pin. I've never been so floored on a new product but this amazing scope has my complete attention and respect! Great job to the crew at ULTRAVIEW for thinking ahead and giving archers everything they need in a single pkg!! 🏹🏹🏹

I’m still new to archery so I have so many questions: 1. Are you using a clarifier or magnifier with your scope setup? 2. How do you zero the scope? do the same yardage marks for your accutouch correspond with the UV3? 3. In a hunting situation how do you adjust using a single pin if the animal moves without letting down and redialing the yardage?
@jimmywallhanger84023 жыл бұрын
#3 you don't. You let down and re range. Or get really good at judging yardage and adjust your pin by eye.

Amazing design! I saw the UV2 and was thinking about getting it, after seeing this I'm glad I waited. I'm pretty new to archery and question that kind of applies to both the UV@ and now the UV3. Why the up pin on the hunting scopes? Is it more rugged, or to get the fiber wrap for more natural light? Or both?

I wish the UV3 3 pin, all three pins were adjustable and the bottom 4th bonus pin was the fixed/slider pin. This would allow for western hunters to use the first 3 pins as 30,40,50 and bonus pin could be 60/slider. The way it is with the middle pin the fixed/slider, I have to set the middle pin as my 40 fixed/slider and my 1st can be 30 and 3rd can be 50 but the bonus pin ends up at like 67 so not usable in a hunting situation

Just picked one of these up. I can't understate how nicely made and thoughtfully engineered it is. Love it. Your tip heating up a blade to mushroom the fiber worked great. I guess I’m one of the few that don’t like it. The inside circle is not round it has a funky hump on top where the lights and batteries are located, makes it harder to pick up the housing and peep alignment for me. The white ring is it’s partially hidden behind the hump and giant bubble, It needs a brightly colored ring like most all other sights on the market. Light only stays on for 4 minutes the most time you get on the firing line but I bought mine as a hunting kit and would like to decide when the light turns off. Am I wrong about any of these things? I have the UV3 XL and you mark my words that by the time they make the UV6 or 7 they will had addressed what I mentioned. My stock Fast Eddie scope has a better sight picture overall.

Hi, i shoot 3d and the only couple of improvements i would love to see on the next version would be a bigger size scope around 40mm, With the light kit attached i would love to see a white or coloured ring all the way around because atm the light right covers the top and bottom of the white ring. Not sure because i haven't used it much but don't like how the allen screw holds the spirit level attached, i seem to have to not screw it in tight and i'll see how with time if the allen screw comes loose. Overall a nice scope.

@Thelongesteconoline3 жыл бұрын
So, I am assuming that the mount has an ability to adjust for range and is really the piece that costs a lot of money here? Otherwise, Is there a way to fix a couple more dots on the lens to compensate for shooting different ranges and hard mount it to the bow with a no frills, low cost mounting option? It looks like a very promising scope/sight that a lot of thought went into. I really like that it gets rid of those hokey pins all over the place of traditional sights. Probably a bit better and more affordable than the Garmin Xero since the UV3 can be easily stripped of its electronics and still retain a sight zero for whatever you got going on. Its absolutely awesome for people with the coin, I'm sure. Especially, considering the lens options for target shooters. I just can't help but remember what it was like when I first got into AR15s and how they were huge money sinks with accessories for so many years. Also, how you could judge the newness of the AR15 consumer by the amount of crap we had dangling off ours. My two last AR15s were M16 A1 parts kits from Apex guns outfitted with fully chrome lined Brownells and Del Ton barrels. Not only was the hands on experience of cleaning storage grease off parts and assembling them back from the gave fun, but the simplicity of the old carry handle A1 upper is what I went back to and loved. Nostalgia and function, I suppose. I think I'll leave all this high tech fancy stuff for the young people with the money to blow. It does seem extremely cool though, especially if you don't have the desire or ability to invest in firearms. God help you win the lottery if you got into both!

Sweet looking sight..! Could you use the target set up for hunting.. just nice to have a fully clear pin..? Why not I guess..! Also if I want to run two different arrow set ups one heavy one mid range what would you recommend other than having by a second sight..?
@johningersoll39313 жыл бұрын
As far as using the target version for hunting, you absolutely can. Chris outlined some of the potential issues with using a lens while hunting such as water, dust and dirt on the lens, breaking a lens, etc. But outside of that, yes, you can use it. Ultraview also offers separate hunting cartridges with your choice of .019" or .010" up pins for $40. You can just take your target cartridge out, and put your hunting cartridge in, and be good to go. And if you want to switch up pin sizes, you can simply get the pin rings as a separate piece for $20, and remove the O-ring and existing pin ring, and replace it with the other pin ring and put the O-ring back in. This way, you don't need to invest so much in multiple scopes, just the cartridges. It is very modular like that. As for different arrow weights, that is a more difficult solution. The only real thing I can think of is that if you have an Axcel sight with the metal sight tapes that screw to the side of the sight, you might be able to swap those for each setup. They are screwed into a fixed position relative to the elevation bar, so technically, they should fall right back into position if you switch back and forth. Of course, this can not be guaranteed without actually trying it, so it would take some experimentation to see if simply swapping the tapes would allow for this. This idea is similar to using multiple yardage wheels with the HHA style roller sights with different tapes for different setups. I hope this helps.
