So if it's hard to slide up and down when you push the switch in you've got 1 of 2 problems. 1st, check your 2 tiny locking screws mentioned in the video. If it still stuck, go loosen the big Allen screw on the pressure switch below the big knob, once completely loosened, the flapper will slide up enough to come off the adjusting latch, move it up or down and push it back down and tighten the screw down tight and it'll give you a wider range of adjustment on the flap switch. I had to loosen mine up and adjust it because when I pushed down on the big silver knob it would only slide around the middle and was tight on the ends. It actually will leave a very precise scratch on the inside of the mount where it applies pressure. So I tightened my 2 tiny screws down, then backed thrm out about 1/8 turn. Then I loosened the flap screw, turned my sight upside down, the flap dropped off the sight and I moved it up about double what it was and tightened it back down real tight. Now when I disengage the pressure flap it just hangs there loose and I can easily slide the scope up and down with no resistance, when I get it to where I want it I just push the flap inward until it's tight feeling and boom. It's locked. If you are having trouble with this message me and I can walk you through it.

Chris, I use the 5 pin Landslyde and how I have set up is the top pin is at 20, then setup other 4 pins to 30,40,50,60. The range the top pin to my range tape. this way all have to do is slide 20 pin to 50 on the tape, that pin now becomes 70 and the rest is 80,90,100,110. work pretty well. What do you think?

Just for the record that is what we think the first axis is as well ;) On a traditional sight construction the axes will go 1-2-3 from archer to target.

I'm really liking my CBE TL3 slider. Simple and very well designed. This sight is not the easiest to set up. There are a couple of videos where it's a little complicated.

I didn’t wanna have to spend the money upgrading from a regular carbon touch pro for the double pin UV3. Axcel ended up sending me an extra sight marker for $10 that I cut down and installed for the second pin, it worked out just fine. Smoked my target buck here in NY @ 33 yards on my first sit of the year Monday afternoon in the rain with the UV3 double pin, beereal grip, and UV hinge, awesome stuff

How were you able to contact axcel to get one of the markers? I’m in the same boat. I have the accu touch pro but it only has the single pin and I have the UV3 with the double. The landslydes are back ordered for God knows when so I might do what you did. Also what part of it did you cut down?

I left axcel for b3 as well this year. I had only owned axcel prior to that . 3 to be exact. I went with the exact rise hunter . There are things I miss from the accutouch. But there are things I love about the b3. For instance .015 pins are awesome verses either .10 or .19. The rise hunter is lighter , the pin is definitely brighter , I basically never use the light, my accutouch pins were not bright …. Not with the original scope on the gen 1 version. One thing I loved about the accutouch and all axcel sights was how rock solid and vibe free it was . The scope itself has vibe and there’s nothing you can do about it, but overall it was a good choice and I have enjoyed it. I figure 3-5 years down the road they will be one of the top ones out there

great vid! two questions: did you need to use a Bridge-Lock Windage Offset Bracket since you were using it with the V3x? Also what was that sight balance tuning tool you used?

I could be wrong, and I’ll know here in about a day or so for sure as I’m getting the Landslyde with the UV3 on my V3X29, but you should only need the offset bracket if you’re using the UV3XL. The standard size UV3 should fit fine and have enough room to go towards the riser so you’re not shooting left or right depending on your handiness.

I wonder why UV partnered with HHA as opposed to Axcel. Probably the economics of it. He was shooting Axcel, then shifted to HHA about the same time UV starting selling the HHA sight on their website. I suppose Axcel makes a very good scope that competes with UV, so not a good partner choice perhaps. They are both great sights. The issue I’m having is finding a bar that fits Mathews bridge lock with as little slop as possible. 2 strikes so far, I’m trying Axcel next as it seems to be the best fit?? Sad to put my Black Gold and HHA in the closet.

For the standard base and single pin scope you can get it for 350.00 or so. Or wait a little bit and pick one up on archery talk anf get about 30 percent or more off. Flagship sights hold their value on there pretty good with the exception of a few like a custom black gold

Hitting your knuckle on the windage dial is a deal breaker for me. I had a Fast Eddie that had the same issue. Sold it for an HHA which has a much better silky smooth elevation dial on it and you don't hit your knuckles.

For a budget price range: trophy ridge alpha slide one pin, qad hunter rest, any cheap stabilizers from Amazon bcs it’s pretty much just a stick, black eagle outlaw arrows and swhacker broadheads. For a more expensive range: hamskea rest, shrewd stabilizers, gold tip arrows, axcel sight and probably an ultra view scope.

@@vectorponder If you have the stuff to level your 1st 2nd and 3rd axis Yourself it doesn't take long at all maybe 10 minutes if you're being really careful. I use the hamskea 3rd axis leveling tool with the brite sight tool combined. But if you don't have that stuff you can bring it to a local pro shop and they should be able to do it for you

That is a nice sight! but it's a little on the heavy side for me, I had one, but I'm sticking with an accutouch. It does have nice features, but almost more than you need at the cost of weight in my opinion. Its not super heavy but all the weight is out front. I found the quick release thing to be unnecessary since you can crank it all the way very easy anyway.

I have a question if anyone who understands could answer. When he was talking about fast and slow bows and where to mount the sight to that piece, how does the speed affect where you would mount it? Wouldn’t you always want it mounted at the top so that you can shoot as far as possible when moving your pins down lower for farther shots?

Slow fps would mean you would want to mount the sight low so you raise the front of your bow. When sighting in a bow you move the pin down to raise were your arrow hits. 🏹

Yes. I've never used one but the sight tapes are basically completely based on arrow speed.

Garmin Xero is by far the best thing to ever come out. The only downside is there are still a handful of states that have yet to make it legal. I believe they all will eventually. Wyoming did finally come to their senses. Eliminates the need for a range finder. I think that it is alot more ethical by not wounding nearly as many animals by misjudged yardage.
