I run this peep and as an "older" 😆 archery, these make seeing the pins and the target WAYYY better. Love the versatility. The easiest way to get the clarifier in is to press it in on a flat surface. Plus you don't smudge the clarifier (or drop it!! 🤐). Housing comes in purple! Great vid on the peep ties!

I really like the second knot, very clean approach. I had been using one by Dudley where the first half of it is comprised of half hitches and the second half like yours, I'm going to give this a try.
@Lost_Hwasal2 жыл бұрын
That second tie in is how a lot of recurve archers tie nock points. When you tie that on serving (like you would for a recurve nock point), you can actually turn the knot up and down the servings like you would a bolt. Very handy knot to know.

Hey Chris what is your draw length? And how do you know what length to cut your arrows?
@williammcintyre65012 жыл бұрын
I know I’m a little late but what my cousin does is he draws his bow back to his draw length with a broadhead on it to see how much room he has with the arrow, cuts it where it feels comfortable, and then makes sure all of his other arrows are the same length. Not sure what he uses though.

Good video, I don’t agree with the high end peep in a hunting rig, seems like it’s extra thing you have to worry about during a hunt. A 5/16 peep fits nicely around most hunting size sights at full draw. Most of those adjustable peeps add weight on the string which slows the bow down.
@armandoortega59932 жыл бұрын
Adding a bigger peep isn’t going to slow down the string enough to notice while hunting.

@white_horse3 жыл бұрын
With the older/original podium peep the lens don't snap into the aperture. You drop the lens into the peep and then screw the aperture in. This one the lens snaps into the aperture and then you screw the "unit" into the peep.

@@mikeguy9668 im only running 60 grains total up front for inserts. Then 100 grain heads. Ethics insert and collar/sleeve. Came in at like 485 grains total arrow weight if i remember correct.
