Hey Chris, thanks for doing this! Love seeing all the guitar gear, but REALLY appreciate you mentioning the vocal mics! You guys have a killer live sound (saw you at the Troubadour in LA - though I think you may have been using 58s for that gig) and I am much more of a singer than a guitar player, so I always love to know what people rely on for live vocals. Congrats on all the success!

Cheers! Yeah, we were using house gear and engineers on that run but in the UK/Europe, me and Tay are using Telefunken M80s (tried the M81s and our FOH didn’t like them) and Tom’s using a Beyer Dynamic of some description. I forget the model number. M88 maybe? 😵💫

The normal channel on a Super Reverb is a little fatter and cleaner. I can see some people liking it more with pedals. The larger input cap into the second gain stage and lack of reverb recovery stage is why.

Hello Chris, I am your new fan from Argentina, it is incredible how you play and the tone you achieve, I was shocked when I saw a helix on your rig, since I have one and I cannot enjoy any of its effects, they all seem artificial to me compared to analog pedals. I would like if you could tell me what effects you use, since my purchasing power does not allow me to pursue the purchase of pedals. Thank you very much in advance and my full support for your work as a guitarist!

I ♡ the rig. Are the p90s in the Revstars stock? I have 3 Revstars; 1 Filtertron, 1 humbucker, 1 P90. I was thinking about changing pickups in the p90. Your pedal board is setup proper. Amps are cool two. You have trouble shot everything. Great. I worked for Ampeg in the early 90s. Tested thousands of bass amps.
