At 9.39 I stopped your video for this comment: your guitar playing is brilliant as is your appreciation of Jimi's talent, BUT: where is Electric Ladyland? It is the album where Jimi went stratospheric: just turn out the lights and listen to it in the dark. You will never feel the same again.

As an engineer and former guitar builder, I own a Yamaha guitar. They are a great value and always well engineered and built.

Just think of how many different sounds The Beatles could have come up with if they had today's computer technology back then.

A new custom shop is just as good sometimes better. I've tried hundreds of vintage guitars. Not all of them have this magical tone you would expect. Just super cool vintage and $$$$

I love the high E tone at 6:12, it's so harmonic, the opposite of a buzzy crappy sound. It has a 'click' on the front of the note. Does the amp have to be fully cranked without using pedals? Are paf's required or a particular speaker type?

I absolutely love my R6. Best guitar Ive ever played; let alone, owned. My dad was born in 1956 so bought it as tribute when he passed and it will be something that stays with me until I die. I love this thing. Nothing compares. I always thought single coils were too " narrow" and hum buckers were too "muddy". This is the perfect middle ground. And the playability-- it's incredible.

Wouldn't adjusting the tailpiece do the same thing as far as loosening the tension of the strings? I do it on all my T.O.M. guitars.

I'm a Stones guy, but you literally cannot say enough great things about George Harrison as a musician... Seemed like a pretty decent bloke, as well.

You guys realize that Les Paul was a jazz player, right? He never used any tones close to this. At least you kept it clean, and, personally, made it sound just like my 2011 Traditional.

The problem with them for me is the damn broomstick neck and the nonexistent vintage frets. Look and sound wonderful just not for me.

Chris, you never fail to amaze me. I’m 73, a Welshman like yourself, and I play in a rock/blues band. I’ve just added a Yamaha Revstar to my collection of 26 guitars. Keep on rocking. Love Cardinal Black ❤

Beautiful new guitar. Btw, the Tilburg venue is pronounced "pop podium" (ie., pop stage) ;)

TBH I think the original Wizz/Day Z sounded better. They're noticably more brighter, yes, but I'd prefer it that way. Ye can always take out something by dialing back on the tone and/or volume pots, but ye can never add in anything (short of using active tone controls).

My second favourite guitar in my collection is a mocha 2020 Telecaster Deluxe (first one is a Jazzmaster). The humbucker gives the tele an amazing, powerful, and versatile sound.
