Its the duty of a manager to approach every game with the objective of winning it. If you actively want your team you lose you are not really a supporter, we need to always go out there and wish for our team to do put in a good performance. Our mentality is one of the biggest factors holding this football team back. Now in saying this, i dont think this football team has any chance of beating this city team in the form they are in. If that team comes to Tottenham and does not completely batter us they dont deserve to win the league.

I intend us to play like City next season to clinch for a prem title. We must rapidly withdraw all the unwanted players from our squad and replacing them with the immense and reliable players for who are title winning contenders. @@ryanjo968 we hate the club but we live among them , they are friends , family , colleagues.. the banter is fierce and they must be the worst fans to take it from .. add to that that where we’re at in our process europa league would be far better for us anyway and having CL with our squad would hamper the progress next year , then all in all there’s nothing to be gained from beating city apart from a summer of relentless pain and banter from gooners who are everywhere .. and not just summer , for years .. if we had something genuinely riding on it that massively benefitted us is would be a closer run thing but the negatives far outweigh the positives for me and so many others . I get that if you live somewhere where the rivalry is less embedded and in your face that it might not make sense and I respect that opinion and support but it’s not about lacking ambition or not being a real spurs fan as some people say., we are still mad passionate about our club but for some the rivalry is a very lived day to day experience.
